CSU – Centre universitaire de Strasbourg

Located at the heart of the Esplanade campus of the University of Strasbourg, the brand-new Centre Sportif Universitaire (CSU) is a 6,800 m² facility spread across five levels, entirely dedicated to student and staff wellbeing.

Opened in October 2025, the building houses three gymnasia – including a 1,046 m² competition-grade hall (type C+) –, a dance studio, a dojo, a climbing wall, boxing and wellness rooms, and squash courts. With over 5,200 m² of Tarkett Sports indoor flooring installed across its varied practice spaces, the CSU combines :

Reflex M Evolution Ash (1,300 m²) in the main competition gymnasium ;

Multiflex M Ash (800 m²) in the upper training gymnasia;

Omnisports Active+ (1,900 m²) across multi-sport and martial arts halls;

Lumaflex Evolution (300 m²) in the dance studio;

Omnisports Compact (900 m²) in the remaining activity areas

Delivering sport-specific performance and durability tailored to each discipline, from high-level competition to daily recreational use for a university community of over 50,000 students.
