Home of the New England Patriots (NFL) and New England Revolution (MLS), opened in 2002, capacity around 65,000. The venue played on natural grass from 2002 to 2006 before switching to a synthetic surface, and returned to grass for the first time in nearly twenty years for the tournament.
The existing surface and the 10 inches of gravel underneath were stripped out in February and replaced by a sand-based profile, with the Kentucky bluegrass pitch reinforced by GrassMaster high performance fibres. Foxborough already knew the system: GrassMaster stitched the Patriots practice field in late 2023, part of a relationship with the franchise going back more than fifteen years.
During World Cup 2026, the stadium hosted 7 matches, from the group stage through to a quarter-final.
Playing area 105 m x 68 m, for a total reinforced surface of approximately 8,000m².
